Hi Guys,
I am doing the Summer Learning Journey Activity .
This time I am doing a activity called Something smells fishy.
One of the longest and largest rivers in the world is called the Amazon River it is in South America.
Here are some facts. I have to put if it is true . I put true next to it. If is is false I write False next to it.
Fact 1: Starfish are a type of fish. FALSE
Fact 2 : Fish usually swim together in groups called school. TRUE
Thanks for reading my post.
Good morning Tory,
ReplyDeleteDid you enjoy researching different facts about fish? What did you find most interesting? I can see that you've already written down whether if the facts are true or false. Ka pai! I like how you have changed the word 'classes' to 'schools' for your second fact - it is indeed correct!
Do you think you'll be able to find if these facts are true or false?
Fish Fact #1: The oldest known fish in the world is a 65 year old Australian lungfish.
Fish Fact #2: Sharks are the only fish that have eyelids.
Fish Fact #3: Fish communicate with each other by making low-pitched sounds (moans, hisses, etc)
There is a website that was linked to this activity. In case you have missed it, I will put the link down below. The facts above should be fairly easy to find on this website. Have a go and let me know if you have any questions at all!
