S L J Stranger than Fiction


Hi Guys,

The task I am doing is called Stranger than Fiction . There are many different type of plant. Some plant live on land and some live in water.

I chose the Rafflesia Arnoldii  and Rafflesia Arnoldii . I am going to write facts about these strange plants.

Rafflesia Arnoldii

1. Rafflesia Arnoldii is the largest individual flower.

2.  There are 20 Rafflesia Arnoldii species in the world.

Baseball plant

1.The Baseball plant grows in the subtropical climate.

2. The Baseball plant is succulent plant.

3. The Baseball plant kinds of looks like a cactus.

    Hi Tory,

    I'm one of the commenters for the Summer Learning Journey. Nice to see that your presentation of your work is neat and tidy :D that will go a long way in future posts for times to come! Nice work on completing another activity - these are some interesting plant choices you chosen. Would you want to see them in person?

    Also, what are some similarities and differences between the Rafflesia Arnoldii and the Baseball Plant, if there are any? I can see that the Rafflesia Arnoldii is a bit more, open, than the Baseball Plant, if you know what I mean! :D

    Wow, I really like your amazing choice of weird plants! I also like your vocabulary. I agree that the baseball plant looks like a cactus, but I also think that it isn't a fact because people can describe it as a tennis ball, or even a baseball (like the name)! I am impressed that the Rafflesia Arnoldii is the largest flower! I also am very interested in your vocabulary, and I am interested in what it means as google is hard to understand.

    Maybe next time you can paraphrase the facts you got from a website and make it understandable for people like me.
