S L J Flying Foxes

Hello readers,

Todays task is called Flying Foxes.
Not only is New Zealand home to many native birds but we also have a number of bats.

Flying foxes usually sleep during the day .They hunt for food at night. Just like bats.

On our blog we have to write what Superpower it could have.

When somethings try to eat it . It could gilde away very fast.

Here is a picture of the flying fox
Thanks for reading

  1. Hi Andrew,
I like how you told us about the cool things that bats could do. The activity really says that you get to name a superpower that you would want. I would like to fly because I want to soar freely and carelessly across the sky, stretching all of my limbs. I also think that the flying fox is lucky because it has super hearing.

    What is your ideal superpower?

  2. Hey Andrew,
This is a really interesting topic. I like the way that you have put in a photo of what it looks like and written about nz. I want to know more about flying foxes... Is that the name of a bat or is it a new creature? A fox that can fly? Are they typically slow flyers? I think it would be cool to be able to disappear when something was chasing me!
Look forward to hearing from you,
    Miss Morgan

    3. Hi Miss Morgan,
A fox that can fly . That is weird. Fox can't fly. But there can be different types of animals.
