  1. Hi Tory,

Have you already checked out this website to see the cool book trailer?
    https://www.bookcouncil.org.nz/fantastic-beasts

Remember this question was about using your imagination to create your very own beast. What does your beast look, smell, feel, and sound like?

You can use interesting adjectives (describing words) to tell us about your beast in this blog post! Make sure they are written in full sentences.

I know that you have taken your time and effort to research facts about our special Kiwi bird, and in fact I think you have done an amazing job at writing a descriptive piece about it!
Now it is time for us to flip the table and make this in to your own Fantastic Beast! As I have mentioned before, this is why we want to be reading our questions very carefully before jumping in!

Well done Tory and I am looking forward to reading about your (mystery) beast! :)

    Happy blogging,
    Susie

  2. Hi Tory,

If I were to describe my own fantastic beast, this is what I would make up:

My beast is called Flurple (which is a made up name combining Flower and Purple). She is called this because she smells like the lupin flowers you see at Lake Tekapo and she is a dark purple colour. Flurple likes to eat small dogs, so I always have to have her on a leash when I take her out for a walk! Flurple can fly all over the world. She is very kind and gives me rides wherever I want to go. Last week, Flurple took me to Cambodia and we visited Angkor Wat!

Tory, can you make up a beast (animal) and tell me about it? If you want, you could answer these questions about it:

    1. What is your beast's name?
    2. Where does your beast live?
    3. What does your beast eat?
    4. What does your beast look like?
    5. What does your beast smell like?
    6. What sound does your beast make?
    7. What does your beast feel like?

If you have any questions, please ask!

    2. Kia ora Tory,

Well done on creating a name for your beast!

What do you think your beast would like to eat? Maybe bugs and insects, or would it be more of a herbivore and eat plants and leaves?

Until next time, happy blogging. :)
