Descriptive Writing Week 3

Hi guys,
Today's posts is about my descriptive writing.  So I think every week we get a new prompt for writing. This weeks prompt is a haunted house. It had to be 3 or 4 paragraphs.  Miss Scott warned me about my descriptive writing because it was almost a story.

Here is my piece of writing.

One dark evening I walked  through a forest, it was a cold and misty night. I saw a haunted scary house. I could see bright red flashing lights in some parts of the haunted scary house. The haunted house had squeaking noises. It house had broken boards holes in the roof.

As I walked closer to the house it was misty.  The fog was creeping above the haunted house. I could feel it’s soft skin as I touched it. It started creeping up on the haunted house slowly.

Bats appeared above the haunted house. They went down to the house making holes in the haunted house.  As I walk forward I could feel dead trees roots beneath my feet. 

I walked forward onto the broken glass a board crunch beneath my feet. I open the door it was all slimy. Suddenly the door open and a high voice appeared.

“ Ye ha ha ha ha” It sounded like a witch."

Descriptive Writing Week 1

Hi everyone.,
Today's post is about last weeks descriptive writing. So we had to describe a picture prompt and write it on the a padlet. The picture was a beach. Then we had to write it on our group google doc.

Here is my writing.

I was at the beach on a lovely bright sunny day. I was staying at a hotel. The bright sun was shining at the sand as the waves were going away. 

Soft smooth sand was heating up by the bright sparkling sun. The waves were washing sand and onto the surface. I could see the light reflection of a rainbow in the water. The clouds were moving along the sky as the breeze came along. 

The sun went high in the sky. The clouds were clearing up until the clouds were gone. It was quite hot the ocean was bright and warm. The blazing sun was really shiny. The sea was washing sand back on and taking a bit back into the sea. I could see my hotel at the end of the beach

Waves were also splashing  about as the sea went away. There was a strong breeze and the clouds filled the bright blue sky.The sun started setting down. No one was on the beach It was just me. Later on the day I went home. It was night time.

Descriptive Writing

Kia Ora Everyone,
Today's post is about my descriptive writing. So for writing we have to write our name in a padlet and describe the picture prompt. It was a valley. After that we had to write a descriptive writing about the picture prompt it also had to flow.

Here is  my descriptive writing.

I was in a mysterious valley  that had lots of lovely straight dark green trees and  bushes. The humongous rocky Mountains had a bit of white glittering snow as the winter sun came out high.  There was also a beautiful clear fresh cyan blue river along the side. The glittering white snow was starting to melt bit by bit. 

As I walked through the mysterious green valley with huge rocky Mountains. I could feel the air passing by. It was so nice  walking through the mysterious valley. The wind was so cool 

 I carried walking. There were lots of different fantastic flowers on the soft green grass. They didn’t smell that good. There was a big breeze some of the flowers got blown away into the distance of the mysterious valley. 

The mysterious valley with huge rocky mountains was foggy. Clouds filled the sky up. The beautiful winter sun went away. The Clouds were so dark that they it started raining hard.I searched around the rocky craggy mountains for a dark damp cave so I could keep out of the rain.

New Buildings

Hi guys,
So last week was the first week for school for Term 4. We had new building in the school grounds. This week Room 3 and Room 4 moved into their new classrooms. Their new classrooms were next to each other. There are 3 classrooms finished.  Hopefully Rooms 1, 2, 11, 12 and the library can move into their rooms in November.
