10 Anzac Facts In My Own Words.

Hi guys,
So yesterdays task for reading was to read 21 facts about Anzac. Then we had to make a DLO. We had to put them in our own words. We got to choose How Many Facts We Were Able to do. I choose to do 10.

Here is my DLO.
Thanks for reading my post feel free to comment.

  1. Hi Tory
You have done a great job of displaying the facts. What was the most interesting fact you found out? Have you ever tried making Anzac biscuits - I think I will make some this weekend.

    1. Hi Miss Scott,
Thanks for commenting on my post. The most interesting fact I found was that Anzac day was never a public holiday in New Zealand and Australia until 1921 . One more I found that was interesting was that ANZAC means Australian & New Zealand Army Corps.

      What was your favorite fact?

  2. Hi Tory,
You found out some interesting facts about ANZAC. Do you know why we have ANZAC parades at dawn? I think I will make some Anzac biscuits like Miss Scott. Do you think you might make some?

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I don't know why they have parades at dawn.

  3. Hi Tory. Excellent ANZAC facts, well displayed, I learnt some new information just reading through them. I have already made some ANZAC biscuits, dipped half of each biscuit in chocolate, was so delicious!

  4. Great work Tory.I like that you have used scrolls to display your work.
I will miss getting up early to attend the ANZAC memeorial this year.Instead I will be standing at the gate, holding a candle to remember those that have made sacrifices for our country.
Will you be doing anything at home to commerate the day?.
We also put posters and a poppy on the windows,in the lounge, facing the road for people to see.
