SLJ Activity 2 Day 2

Hi readers,
Today's post is  One small step for man.

Did you know Neil Armstrong was a American astronaut. Did you know in the 1969 he became the first person to walk on the moon? Thats amazing. Landing on the moon is very dangerous. I think Neil Armstrong must of been very brave. Walking on the moon is like jumping on the trampoline. Because there gravity in space

Here is my poem about my first step on the moon.

My first step on the moon feeling brave
Jumping like on a trampoline as the night sky goes along.
I walk forward jumping I put the flag down and headed back.
As I head back I was in a good mood.

  1. Hi Tory!

Congratulations on completing another activity. It's so great to see you taking part in the Summer Learning Journey Programme.

I really like how you've compared being in space to jumping on a trampoline. It helped me to clearly picture what it would be like. If you were given the opportunity, would you go to the moon?

Have a wonderful day, Tory. I look forward to reading more posts from you soon.

    Bye for now,

    Mikey

    1. Hi Mikey,
Thanks for commenting. I would not go to the moon because it takes ages to get there and back.

    2. Mōrena Tory,

That's a very valid reason. I don't think I'd like to travel there either. I'd much prefer to visit places here on Earth.

While I'm here I just wanted to let you know that there's only a week left of the Summer Learning Journey and before it concludes next Friday (January 24th) I'd love to see some more posts from you. You started off so strong, sharing lots of wonderful work but I've noticed that you haven't been as active recently. It'd be great to see a few more completed activities from you. Remember, the more you do, the more points you could earn! :)

Have a great day, Tory. I do hope to see some more posts from you before the end of next week. :)

      Mā te wā,

      Mikey
