SLJ Activity 3 Scaling new Heights

Hey Readers,
Today's activity is Scaling New Heights. Do you know who's face is on the five dollar NZ note? Well it is Sir Edmond Hillary. He is known for being the first person and his Shepherd to climb to the top of Mount Everest. Mount Everest is the tallest mountain in the world. Sir Edmond Hillary did lot of charity work.  Mount Everest is located in Nepal. In the 1960 , he started the Himalayan trust to bring education, health care and other stuff.

 We had to choose a charity I choose SPCA. SPCA is a charity. SPCA helps protect over 40,000 animal that are in New Zealand each year.

    Well done on giving this activity a go. You've shared some really interesting information about Sir Edmund Hillary but if you go back and read the activity instructions it actually asks you to choose a charity and share some information about it. Have another go and I'll check back in later to have a read. :)

      Thanks for commenting on my post. I have choose a charity and changed a bit of thing around. I chose SPCA. Do you like animals?

      Thank you for adding that extra information. The SPCA does do an amazing job, don't they? Yes, I do like animals. I've always wanted to volunteer at my local SPCA and help care for the dogs. Do you like animals? What's your favourite?

      Thanks for comment. Yes SPCA do an amazing job. I like animals. My favorite animals are fluffy animals like rabbits. Whats your favorite animal?

      Hey Tory,

      Good choice! Rabbits are great animals for cuddling. :)
      My favourite animal is an elephant. Obviously, I can't have one of those as a pet though so my favourite domesticated animal would have to be a dog. I can't wait until I'm able to get a puppy. Do you have any pets at home?
