Duffy Thertere

Hi everyone,

Yesteuday on  Thursday we had a Duffy Thertere. There  were three actors. They did a play some of the parts were funny  The little kids were noisy though. Even  it was so loud I enjoyed the show.  At the start Duffy was visting his Aunty . When he was there he wore his nana's glasses and started dancing like a weirdo. Then he got sucked into the game magic bricks. Frist he wore a  skin it was a  muscle skin. Next the demoniter it try to destoryed Duffy it destoryes sqaures things. Then Duffy built a satir then the demoniter broke the stairs  the demoniter came after Duffy because she was trying to brake his muscle .

100 Word Count Story 8

Hi Readers,

This is another post it is about my 100 word count story Week 8.  It has to have I was so cross that.

Here it is.

I went to a  restaurant with my friend. I had a drink it was Bubble Tea. The I went the bathroom and washed my hands. When I came out of the bathroom the bubble tea was gone. My Friend said mmm delicious. The tasty food came and I went and got spoon and fork . I was so cross that he had ate my dinner. I order another one finally I had my Dinner. My Friend left .I was going out until the big boss came in front of me . He said have you pay. I forgotten It cost 200 dollars .

Weaving

HI Everyone ,

Last weeks art was weaving. We also worked as a group the people that were in my group was Angus, Jacob , Me and Venice.

First we had to make our strips of paper to weave.  We were allowed two colours.  The colors we used were very very light blue and green.

Once we had finished dying our strips we waited until it dried up. Then we glued it to our black sheet of paper. After that we had to weave our strips of paper carefully or it might rip. Our frame was orange

Pastel Art

Hi Guys,

The other day we did a art called pastel art.We work as a group again .  First we drew some shapes . The shapes could'n be to small or it will be hard to go over with a vivid.  Some of us learnt how to smudge pastels.  We were not allowed to have the same color next to each other.

Todays post is about last week on Friday . Last week on  Friday   we had a mufti day at school.  It was called Colour Your Day.   On That day teachers were wearing scarfs around their face .After lunch time we lines up and walked over to the  High School. We try making the word Aroha.

100 Word Count Story 7

Hi Everyone,

This post is about my 100 Word Count Story from last week. It is about old fashioned castle.

Here it is.

I was in a creepy old house. When I walked onto the stairs the stairs moved around the old house. I found a room I walked into the room it was creepy. The I felled in a big trap. I got tangled in some old vines. I fell down through the vines then I was in a pretty land with lots of fluffy animals. One of the animals pushed me into the lake. Soon was back in the house . I went out  I heard lots of people coming . So I ran outside and went through the door I was invisible.

What's Coming Up This Week.

Hi Reders.
There is a few things coming up this week. It is the Duffy Theatre , Vodafone Crusader, Fun Day , Pasifika and Rugby Ready. Also Next Week ON Wednesday we are having our Cross Country.

Jump Jam 😃

Last Week on Wednesday the 20th  . A man named Brett Fairweather, came to our school He did three Jump Jam dances with the whole school and he answered some questions we had about his life.For the 2nd one the teachers went up and did Jump Jam.

Lunch Time Activities

Hi Guys,

Today at Lunch time me and Nuu did a lunch time activity it was ten pin bowling.Unfortunately  there are no photos of us. Who ever knocked  all of it in one try get a strike and they go to the side. We also did top 5 to see. I try it and I got all of it in one go. You had to roll it not throw it because it is cheating. If you throw it and it hit the pile you get disqualified.

Mathletics Award

Hi Everyone,
Today I got a Mathletics Award it was a medal. I got a Silver Medal our class got the Class of the week trophy.   There were three medals   it was  gold, silver and bronze.  Lucky two people from our class got the medal It is Me and Michaela. The third one was Marvin in Room 8.

Reading A Book

Today we were able to get a book from our school library. There were lots of  interesting books in containers and on shelves . I Thought  Gangster Granny book  was inserting even I have read it once before. It is  by David Williams I think it is a good and fit book for me.This was in a white container . Miss Scott had to scan the book because then they know who is borrowing the book. We Might  return it about 2 or 3 weeks. This book has some picture in it. There is also a movie of it.

Summery

It starts of when Ben hates spending time with his boring granny while his parents are off ballroom dancing . He kind of knows his granny has a secret. Together they go on an adventures and become like best Friends.

Boring Un Fun Test

Hi Everyone,

Last week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday . We had to do lots of tests . First on reading test. On Tuesday we did a writing test . On Wednesday we did our last test it was a math test. The best one it the maths test because some of the question was easy. The Reading and Writing test was kind of Boring.

Dodge Ball For Juniors 😥

Hey Readers,

Today me and Jaedun did a dodge ball game for Joiners. Their was not much Juniors their . Their was Only 6 Juniors that came.  Three boys came and Three Girls came. We brought out the balls there was six balls. At the end we did boys VS girls. No one got out.Then the bell rang they put their shoes. Me and Jaedun put the balls away.

100 Word Count Story 5

What are we learning

This week we have been doing lots of testing. On Thursday we had to finished our Sunshine Classic , Spelling and 100 work count. I've have finished all of it.  

Here is mine 100 Word Count.

I was in a my creepy house . I wanted to get something from the fridge it was empty. What a  surprise it was never empty. I was very hungry because there was nothing to eat or drink . The only thing that was left was orange juice. I drank all of it. I saw the cupboard it started to disappeared . So I  thought I should investigate . I sneaked into the cold freezing room . There was freezing cold Ice Cream. I really wanted it so I found a button that made the room more warmer. Then I ate all the Ice Cream.

What We Did 😓

This week we did and unusual art we had to work in a group again.  It was called silhouettes art. We also painted it it. Miss Scott took our photo. We had to face at the window it got printed. After that we had to go to a window with a pencil because we hd to trace over our photo. Next we paint it. We chose yellow for our group. When we were finished backup while it was drying up.

Going To Wharenui School

Hi Guys,

Last week on Saturday I went to Wharenui School for Chinese lessons. IT is on every Saturday I start from 12:30 to 2:00. It is 1 Hour and 30 Minutes. They have a big and large field. You can bring a snack and a drink bottle there to. We also have a stamp chart to see who has the most stamps.

Listening To Music And Playing Games ❤️

Ni Hao guys,

It has been a long day at school . So I through I wanted to play games and listen to amazing music at home. Also I listened to music when I was doing a  post because it is relaxing and it makes me calm. I was playing Nitro type and having the song Happier on. I got a new car in achievements  for Nitro Type Race . Next I changed the music and changed the game to Zombs Royale. I changed the music to WE ARE THE WORLD it is a Cambodia song from the the voice.

Class Award

This week on Wednesday we got all of our puzzle pieces. So we decided to have free time in our pool. We called it Wacky Wednesday. Some people didn't have there togs so they brought their Chromebook. I played Nitro Type Race Next I had no internet.    Here are some pictures.

Health Leaders

Hi guys,

Yesterday us Health Leader went to the High School. We showed our work to the other group we worked with them. The people that were in the other group were Lhysette , Khush , Axle, Nathan , Rieya , David, Risha and Khaylanie. So we shared our work with them. Then Susie and Freya made a google doc and ask everyone. When it was 1:00 we went back to our school and played for 20 minutes.

Biathlon 😅

Aloha guys, 

Today was the first Biathlon for the Year. I helped Miss Scott set up the course. The Biathlon started in the after lunch play. The People that brought there bike or scooter had to bring it to the bike and scoter area. I was in the Year 5 running race we were the last one to race. The people who had there scooter and bike went before us. There were only four people that didn't have a scooter or bike. That was Me , Nuu , Sione and Nathan. We sat down I was sitting in the front Nuu was sitting be hide me. Sione was sitting behind Nuu and Nathan sat behind Sione. Then it was our turn the race started . I was in the lead. We finished the other course then we ran around the field twice. I came First Nuu came second Sione came third and Nathan came forth.  I was so tried after running .

Making Bridges At Buddy Class

Hi guys,

last week we  continuing to do different group challenges at Buddy Class time.  Last week  we talked about 5 finger breathing which is a strategy we can use to calm down. We worked in the old hall.

Miss Scott told us a story about Miss Frost trying to get to school and the bridge being washed away.  Then we had to make a bridge to hold a lego car.  Our group and others groups bridge  did not stay up.   Miss Scoot and Miss Frost made a bridge to it stayed up. They said they were the  winner .
