Halswell Miniature Train Ride

On Sunday we went to the Halswell Miniature Train Ride. We went there with my family. When we arrived at the Halswell Miniature Train Ride . There were small trains on tracks. We had waited in line to get our ticket. The first round I went with my little brother. Then then the man clip the tickets. We went on a Diesel train we saw one rabbit . The next ride  my  family went with us we went on a steam train they did not see any rabbits . The last round it was me and my little brother we went on a diesel train on our ride we saw four  rabbits on the ground. It was so much fun at Halswell miniature train ride.

  1. Hello Andrew. It sounds like you and your family had a lot of fun on Sunday. I didn't know that Halswell had a Miniature Train Ride. When I lived down South there was a train named The Kingston Flyer. This was a huge train and you got to go into the carriages and stand in a carriage that was called the bird cage. The trains that you went on, could you sit in a carriage or do you just sit on top of the carriage? Maybe next time you could include a photo of the fun you had. Cheers

  2. Kia ora Andrew!
What a neat thing to do on a Sunday! I like how you described the types of trains as diesel or steam. My favourite trains are steam trains because when you see them it feels as if you have traveled back in time. Did you find out how steam trains work? It is quite fascinating. i would love to see some photos as well. Did your mum or dad take photos on their phone?? Maybe you could get them to send you their photos by email for your blog.
    All the best,
    Miss D
