Biathlon Coming up

Hi Everyone,

On March the 7th. It is  Hornby Primary School  biathlon. You can bring your bike or scooter to race. I am going to run. It will start at 1:45pm and it ends on 3:00pm. Our parents are allowed to come to the biathlon to support their child. I'm so exited about the biathlon but its gonna be so tiring.

100 Word Count 3

Hey guys,

Todays post is about my 100 word count. This time it is about vinger.

Here are the question.

What does vinegar taste like?

When do you use vinegar?

Why would it be TOO sharp?

Week 4

Vinger

One day I tasted vinegar . It didn't taste that good. It tasted sharp. Another cold day came we used the stinky vinegar to make some food. Then I tasted the vinger it tasted really weird and disgusting. I had never tasted something that was that disgusting . Then I ate salt and vinegar chips . Then I thought I wanted to add more vinegar. When I added the vinger I put a lot of vinegar in it. Then I tasted it . It was horrible I spit it into the sink. Then I had juice. Next I went on my fancy red scooter.

Playing Nitro Type

Recount

Hey guys,

Today I am going to tell you about the recount we did last week.

Paragraph 1

Last Week we went to Kelly Sports They came to Hornby Primary School .  There was two coaches on the field . We went to the Field. The coaches names are called Julia and Ross. There was one important rule it was you need to have fun. Even on a very hot steamy day.

Paragraph 2

Next we Splitted into two groups. Ross had one group and Julia had a group. I was in Julia group. We had to jump over the hodley. Then we went into groups of five or four. You had to jump over the hodley. Then I did it a different way. The Julia said to do it a different way. The way was the same as my one. She copy my awesome idea.

Paragraph 3

Then we went to the other activity. Then Ross and his group move around to. In our group we try to score . The we moved again. The last activity was golf. We used a bat and a tennis ball. We had to get the tennis ball into the hoop with the bat. The activities were so fun but it was also so hot. The I had a cold drink . Then we went back to the  classroom.

I had a awesome time at Kelly Sports even on a very hot day.

Room Seven's Poster

Hey Guys,

For our art we have been doing a poster of our class name. We didn't what to draw the name . So used Miss Scotts copied one  . We just had to color it in. It was quite easy when we coloured . The people in my group were Lennox, Me , Kody and Jacob. We were the first group to finish it . We coloured  different rows. Kody coloured  the the second row, Lennox coloured the first row, Jacob coloured the third and I did the bottom row to. I also did all the patterns.

100 Word Count 2

Hey guys,

Yesterday I finished my 100 word count . This one is a bit different than the first one. This one is about a missing bear.

Also here is my 100 word count.

The little bear is in a big town stranded on the path with lots of people.  It must of have fallen out of a little kids hand. The little kid must of have seen something that they really wanted because it was so cool . They must of  have forgotten that they had not recognise that the little kid had drop it teddy. The little kid must be very sad now. The little kid must be crying because they dropped their favorite brown, small teddy bear. The teddy bear was so cute . The little kid got it for their 4th birthday.

Health Leader Group

Hey guys,

So today the people who got chosen to be a Health Leader. Meted Richard. Miss D came with us to. Then we went over to the High School. We met some filmier friends. Then we went into one empty class and waited. Then some other Students came. We also had to write our name on a sticker. The sticker said Hello I am. Then we sat in a circle. Then we talk through the things. Then we got a pice of paper and write down the things Richard said. Then we glued it onto a big piece of paper. After that we did a different one. Then we went back to Hornby Primary School and played.

Art Project

Hi guys,

So guys This morning I saw that our art project was finished. We did it with the whole class.

We all designed our own individual circles. It had patterns and then we wrote

things about ourselves on the back of the circle.

Then we had to arrange the circles in colour groups and stick

them onto the big tree.

I Am A Health Leader !!!!!

So Today after lunch time . The people who filled the health leader form. They had to go to the small room by room six. I am in it. Miss D said some people have made it to be a health Leader. Miss D said some people. I think it is Tom , Freya , Me , Jhrnylle and  Celine. I am exited to be a health leader. Because I want to keep the school nice and healthy.

Basketball Training

On Wednesday afternoons we are lucky enough to have people from the Rams Basketball organisation coming out to school to help us develop our skills.  This is great practice before the Friday night competition starts in Term 2. Most people in our school like basketball. Theses trainers are only for seniors. Like year 5 and 6.

Hi Guys,

Today I thought of finishing of my work. We had to do a 100 word count. It could only have 100 words in it.

Here is my it is just pretend.

It was my chance. My parents could now let me hike the hill by myself.  I was completely out of tune. I could finally hike by myself. Then I thought why should I not go with my friends. So I went with my friends. I got to the top of a tall hill. The we walk down the hill. Next we had something to eat. Then we had a rest. The next day we went out to the park. We had a race together. I won the race. It was a sprinting race. Then we relax in the cold wind.

Choir 2019

Hey guys

Welcome back to this new blog post. Yesterday it was the  first Day of Choir in 2019!  I am so much exited to tell you and to share you guys about this. 

The teacher that teaches Choir  is Miss D. She is was my teacher last year in Ako Ngatahi . Now she's is in Room 6.  People have been going to choir to practise . Some times there is a competition . Some times the competitions happens in   Dress Mart or horn castle arena.

Buddy Class 2019

Hey guys,

Today was the first day of our buddy class. Our buddy class is Room 1. The teacher in Room 1 is Miss Frost.  Our buddy class was in the old hall. Our activity was who could make the highest masmallow and spaghetti plaster tower. We had to make ourself into two groups. My buddy is Robert. Our one keep falling over. At the end our one was 11 tall. We lost the winner gets a prize.

Sunshine Classic

This year we are doing sunshine classic. We can do this for reading to. It is a type of reading. First we read the book that is on our chormebook. Then we go onto Thinking and answer the questions. Then we show it to the teacher. Then she tells us the points we get. It can be 20 40 60 80 or 100.

Water Fight

On Wednesday The teachers said we could have a water fight because on Thursday this week it was going to be so hot. Also the whole school was invited to take part in a water fight.  This included the teachers and other staff.  Everyone got completely soak but it was fun. I got wet to. Health Leaders

Welcome back again to my blog post. Yesterday the teacher said that if you want to be a health leader you need to go on to Miss D classroom at the lunch time. And I went their. Miss D shared us a form so we could fill it in.
