New Zealand is a country with most mountain and hills. Aoraki Mt Cook is the place where Sir Edmund Hillary climb. He i the first man to reach the top summit of Mt Everest. Mt Everest it the tallest mountain in the world. Sir Edmund Hillary did not give up in 1953. His Face is on the New Zealand $5 Dollar note . I am going to imagine that I met Sir Edmund Hillary in Real life.If I met Sir Edmund Hillary in Real life. I would Ask him.

Did you know In 1961 some people came together and started an organisation it was called World Wildlife Fund. There main goal was to protect life on Earth. There was Hundreds of World Wildlife Fund staff they work in many countries all over the world. They were trying yo protect our plant and animals who live here.

S L J The Secretive Skink

Hey guys,

Welcome back to my blog.  I am doing the Summer Learning Journey.

There are not much lizards , geckos and skinks living in New Zealand. Did you know one of the least common thing is the Chevron Skink. The Doc Staff are called Rangers. Because their job is to protect animals and plants living on the Island.

When I am older I am not going to be a Doc Staff. Because it is a bit hard to cam the animals down.

Hello guys,

Today For the Summer Learning Journey. I am doing Fantastic Beasts .

Did you know there are unusual animal living in New Zealand. One of the most unusual thing is the Kiwi Bird. The Kiwi Bird does not have wings and it can't fly it is pretty strange.

A kiwi living in borrow and bush but it can not fly. It has a long beak and it use it to eat food. A kiwi is a mammal. It has feathers it is like hair.

Today I am doing the Summer Learning Journey. So far I am up to day two Activity Three.

New Zealand is one of countries that has amazing plants and trees. The African Desert is home to amazing plant like cactus.

Over one full year, how much water will you need to give your cactus plant?

I Think they should be water once a week.

S L J Activity One Day Two

Hey Guys,

It is the school holidays today. I am doing the Summer Learning Journey. So far I have done Day one Activity.

There are many different types of plants in New Zealand . People have been discovering them in New Zealand. Did you know one of the largest and longest living trees is the New Zealand Kauri tree. The largest Kauri tree in New Zealand is in the Waipoua Forest. The Waipoua Forest is found in the Northland. Thousands of people go to visit Kauri Tree Every Year. I think when I am older I might go and vist the Kauri Tree.
